Live Q&A #351 – Thread Milling with Special Guest Dwayne Ruthig

In this live stream my special guest Dwayne Ruthig will lead a discussion and demonstration of thread milling on the CNC using the Vectric Thread Milling Toolpath.

Dwayne is well versed and very experienced with using the Thread Milling toolpath found in Vectric VCarve and Aspire. We will focus on internal threads, as well as external threads, both with and WITHOUT using a rotary axis. We’ll discuss the tools needed, work holding, and necessary points to take into account before cutting the threads on a box, in a box lid, as well as carving a nut and bolt.
